Up, But Not At 'Em

Tried getting out of bed this morning to go to the gym.  Even had all my stuff laid out and ready to go.  For some reason I just couldn't do it this morning.  While I laid in bed awake, I spent the entire hour that I could have been at the gym planning when I could fit a workout in today.  Seems silly now.  Why didn't I just get up and go and get it over with? 

So I packed up my workout clothes and took them to work with me. What I like about early morning workouts is that I don't have to think about exercising the rest of the day.  Now I had the pressure of knowing I needed to do a workout sometime today. Since the ellipitical was on my workout agenda and we have one in our gym at work, I figured I could squeeze it in during my work day. The elliptical machine in this gym is different than the machines I use at 24.  It allowed me to adjust my stride length, but I couldn't adjust the incline.  I did intervals for 45 minutes and it was a decent workout. Definitely got my sweat on, but wasn't feeling overly exerted.

Tomorrow we're doing abs and riding the bike.  Love our early morning workouts!
