Monday we decided to focus on legs so we did a leg circuit. We did a lot of the usual exercises (lunges, weighted jump squats) mixed with cardio in between. The one new exercise we tried this time was the cup drill. Christine had done this with a trainer last year and thought it would be a good one to try. C brought 4 cups for each of us to use. Standing on one leg you must put one cup down at a time in a semi circle standing up after each cup. Without putting your foot down, you are to pick each cup up. It definitely makes the leg and butt burn. The left side was super easy for me because that's my stronger & longer leg. My right side was definitely more of a challenge and I found I had to touch the ground with my left foot every once in awhile to get my balance. This will be a good one to do each time to improve my balance!
