Today was our run up Torrey Pines and I was looking forward to it all day. I love being able to run after work and clear my head. We are now into a routine of walking a bit to warm up and then running up the hill. We ran to the same point we did last week, walked for a bit, chose a landmark to run to which was a moving target; a couple walking up the hill. It made it much more challenging! Once we reached the couple, we walked for a bit to catch our breath (okay, I caught my breath, Kristin was fine) and then ran the rest of the way which involves a pretty decent incline.
This week we walked down the hill to give our knees a break. When we got to the bottom, we ran quickly back to the car and then stretched. Total workout time was 54 minutes. We had a great run!
Tomorrow Christine and I are working our arms in our circuit workout. I love having workout buddies!!!
